The Expert 2.0 Insulator Joint Support Compression Baselayer Tight is made of WarmStretch™ temperature-regulation fabric to maintain a constant comfortable surface temperature in a variety of conditions — perfect for the cold weather athlete. The patented CW-X EXO-WEB™ bands together the muscles and ligaments of your lower leg to stabilize the knee and reduce vibration for increased efficiency. Graduated compression facilitates circulation during and after activity, minimizing lactic acid build-up so that you can be active longer and recover faster.
Primary target areas: hip and knee joints.
Secondary target areas: quads and calves.

Thomas David Kehoe –
Warm! Twice I’ve biked up a 2,700′ mountain and put on the tights for the descent and my legs didn’t get cold. This is December in Colorado.
Frederick Fletcher –
It looks well made but they aren’t as thick as the ones I bought 15 years ago. Are the Endurance Generator Insulator Joint & Muscle Support Compression Tights thicker than these?
Christian P. –
Excellent, comfortable, warm. Great fit. Well made.

This is an update from my previous review on 10/20/19. I spent an entire season using these and liked them enough to purchase a second pair. They do provide adequate warmth for temperatures in the teens and up. The support is very good, even for a troublesome knee that I have previously worn compression braces for. The seams are flat enough to wear under ski boots without causing discomfort. If you ski and need the support these are well worth the additional cost over the price of more traditional base layers.
Joseph M. –
The material in so comfortable, feels great and the fit just right.(I used the size guide and it worked.

Tight are not as warm as past insulated models unfortunately
Michael W. –
Nice for recovery at day’s end after strenuous activities. Knees and hips are thankful!!

It would be great if you could produce a Capri (3/4) length version of the insulated tights with the horizontal fly. I am an avid skier and like the support these provide but have some problems with having anything other than my socks in my boots as seams can cause discomfort. I haven’t had a chance yet to try these skiing and it usually takes a day of skiing (or more) to really evaluate a product. I am very committed to close fitting high performance gear and these seem to have the attributes I am looking for, I will know in a few months how well they work inside my boots.
Thank you for asking.
